Boulder High School
The students at Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado on Thursday, two days after the election, staged a sit-in at their high school. These kids can't even vote yet but that was not going to get in their way of expressing their outrage over what we adults had just done. They would not leave the building and stayed there all Thursday night. They told the media that they were protesting the election results and putting Bush on notice that there was no way they were going to allow the draft to come back. Thank you, Boulder High School Students.
Thoughts?

3. I heard they invited their reps in
Only the Dem showed up. Not a surprise. The retardican sent a message to them that the best way they could show democracy in action was to go back to class.

All I could think was, "Fuck you."

Those kids are certainly brave! May they all grow into healthy activists in the next few years. We need more just like 'em.

This is the first thing that really has since the election.

5. check out the demographics of this election
The group that voted most heavily for Kerry? 18-29 year olds. The group most heavily for Bush? 60+ year olds. Old people voted overwhelmingly for expensive wars, dismantling Social Security, crashing the dollar, and banning abortion. I really feel most for the younger people (I am in the middle). The old voted to screw over the young.
