I am surprised people in Ohio have not taken to the streets. |
|
Why haven't people in Ohio, particularly in the major cities like Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, and so on are not marching? I would think people there would be fuming right now because their votes have been stolen. There should be rage out on the streets. I mean massive demonstrations. What is up? The black box voting machine people like Diebold have screwed them hard. There should be no complacency.

We come to you today and thank you for keeping those filthy queers from marrying each other. We thank you for giving us four more years of Bush, which means we'll be able to practise your sons teachings of living in poverity with a clean spirit more precisely since there'll be no jobs left for us. We thank you for sending Bush down to us to annihilate as many brown skinned people as he can and for banning stem cell research which would have saved countless lives which I'm sure you'd rather have up there to keep you company, amen."

5. There WERE demonstrations at the statehouse in Columbus, but... |
|
if the mainstream media isn't covering it, you can't expect a big uprising.

10. They don't want to know. |
|
If they did, they might have to do something. The major media is a very willing accomplice.

11. Mostly, we (Ohioans) don't know about it... |
|
or are just too damn complacent to care.
Was out in the Ohio countryside today where there was one of those "Bush/Cheney 04" signs along the side of the road. It was huge, though... maybe 15 feet by 20 feet. Plastered on the side was a sign that said "Dick did it!"
Wonder what the hell that means?!?
