I have yet to see that poll.

And...

9/11 is and always will be the worst event that ever happened in American history. (Will Rush and NewsMax report that I just said that? I think not)

But, is fleecing 9/11 somehow good? Is mentioning it over and over again at the RNC good? Does Bush appearing in front of a video of the collapsing WTC make him 'moral'? Is going to war with Iraq just so Halliburton can make a profit also 'moral'?

Yeah, it was bad, 3000 people killed.

But let's not forget other wars, including the civil war in places like Kansas and Missouri, which were exceedingly bloody and tragic, as just one example.

I'd add, though I'm sure the right wingers would not agree, that the genocide against Native Americans is also a much worse event than 9/11, as is the enslavement of Africans...

The only event comprable to 9/11 in the 20th century was Pearl Harbor, but the 19th was full of all sorts of nasty stuff that was considerably worse than 9/11.

31. Literally speaking: was 9/11 DEPRESSING?

I can think of a whole gamut of emotions from 9/11 that preceed "depressing", its too soft of a term> Anger, outrage,horror, fear, feelings of determination, resolve, revenge. I wasnt depressed 'til I saw the CIC crying in the oval office, then I found out he sat around reading a child's book while we were under attack. That was depressing.

I wouldnt use any terms that harsh to describe the outcome of the election, JMHO
