Portrait of a Nation Divided.
In the states won by Gore in 2000, the results were:

Gore - 53.73%
Bush - 40.49%

In those same states, the results this year were:

Kerry - 53.93%
Bush - 44.96%

In the states won by Bush in 2000, the results were:

Bush - 55.69%
Gore - 42.71%

In those same states, the results this year were:

Bush - 56.91%
Kerry - 42.29%

This nation is just as divided as it was in 2000. Good job, President Uniternotdivider.

1. If you believe those numbers. I don't.
Kerry won in a landslide. Gore won in a squeaker. But they both won.

Win the election. Lose the count. Two for two.
