2. Yeah, it's amazing!
How could they paint a multiple-amputee war hero as unAmerican? How do they sleep at night?

3. Cleland should be in the cabinet
Edited on Tue Sep-02-03 10:08 AM by Caution
Of whoever is the next president. Not only is he a good man with good experience in government it would really piss off the bush crowd...not as much as appointing a man who LOST AN ELECTION TO A DEAD MAN into one of the most powerful seats in government, but hey it'll sting.

Edit: typo

He has had a long career of public service.

4. how Chambliss beat Clelland
Very simple. Chambliss ran ads literaly comparing Clleland to Osma binLaden because of one vote re Homeland Security. It did not matter that Cleland had supported the Pres on all other issues. Further, some say Cleland took the typical Democratic attitude---the people will not believe this mess and therefore did not fight back strongly. Our party must learn that you fight and fight back hard. People do believe the Republican propaganda. This was immoral on the part of Chambliss but since does morality bother Republicans.

8. Chimpy campaigned hard for Chambliss which gave cover for Diebold
to doctor their voting machines. As the poll gap closed, it became plausible that Chambliss had a chance. No way Chambliss could win otherwise. The White House occupants are total criminals.

7. Cleland
Cleland in any post, including VP would be such a plus for this country. I have always liked that man. The way he was treated by the Republicans during the election in GA was reprehensible. Ultimately I think it indeed was the voting machines.

10. the senate race was not the worst of it
In the governor's race, the dem, barnes had a 10 % lead on the day before the election, and he lost to repug purdue by 4%, according to diebold. Now that, and the fact that nobody made much of a fuss about it, something to worry about.
