The Parable of the Zebras and the Lions
two zebras in a herd were grazing when 4 lions jumped out from the bushes and killed another zebra right in front of them. the herd scattered and the two zebras watched as the lions ripped the prey zebra to shreds.

"damn, i hate lions", the first zebra said. "me too", said zebra two, i've seen so many zebras get attacked and killed by them, they are just totally out of control". zebra one says, "yeah, somebody really oughta do something about those fucking lions someday".

"come to think of it, they've been killing us zebras as long as i can remember, thousands and thousands of us", said zebra one, and they went about their grazing.

and it went on like this for thousands and thousands of years. a herd of half a million zebras under constant attack by a half a dozen lions, when all they had to do was get organized and stomp the fuck out of the lions, and be done with them. go figger.

1. Nice.
Damn those fascist lions eating up all of the unorganized liberal zebras.

2. I'm a sucker for nature shows and I like dreaming of that day.
Elephants, on the other hand, know what power is. I've seen them on some of these shows walk up to the lion pride and tell them to move on.

And the lions move.

4. Anyway, the zebras trampled the lions in Indonesia, Philippines and Iran.
They didn't need anyone to come in and save them.
