Imus is spewing absolute idiocy about exit polls. . . |
|
Whatever compelled me to turn on the radio I completely regret caving into.
He's sighting info from some pollster who he saw on Newshour last week.
He's saying that the only reason the exit polls were so inaccurate was due to barriers erected outside of polling places to prevent electioneering coupled with the fact that Kerry voters were more forthcoming revealing who they voted for than * voters were.
Unbelievable BS. No mention of BBV naturally.
Arghhhhhhhh.
I'm turning it off now!

2. Donald doesn't know... |

What he is talking about. As usual. He is a radio geek show with portfolio.
I think it is telling that his brother tells him he is full of shit a lot of mornings.

4. I heard that too before I muted - AAR better - someone said Viacom |

might be an ally in all this. I tuned in this am to see his attitude and you're right. His rantings are so off the mark and he is actually ridiculing the very thought that there could be voter fraud. He was mocking Maher earlier also.

7. I only tuned in half way through his schpiel. |

Missed him ridiculing the possibility of fraud.
I teeter back and forth weekday mornings as to whether I should savor my morning reverie with tunes or tune in to check in with the collective zeitgeist. Always am sickened when I resort to the latter.

I made the mistake of flipping through the channels to see what was happening in the t.v world( I've written off the news for now), but I stumbled on A-hole and he just really pissed me off. Sorry..CNN called Rove a winner this year in their winner/loser segment.

6. Why is it that they give so many radio shows to ignorant assholes? |
|
Just curious.
And even if there are irregularities, which there most certainly are, we could all expect this asshole to report them now, couldn't we?
Guys like the rest of them, as long as he's got a nice cushy high-paying gig, everyone else can go to hell. He's a perfect example of the "I got mine, screw you" syndrome.

Those reasons don't really sound believable. I don't think Kerry voters are more "forthcoming." How did the barriers affect Bush voters more than Kerry voters?
Some articles are saying that raw data was reported. If that's the case, it sounds utterly silly. Why didn't they crunch it before sending it out? It could not be very hard to do that.

Yeah, I agree. That's why I called it idiocy.

10. I can't believe they'd send raw data out |

If so, it sounds like this operation was run by schoolkids.

12. one extit poll compared to 5 in the past |
|
Leher Roport last Friday pointed out the questions were poorly constructed--The item of values was broad enough to include Irag war, the immorality of the economic status of our country, etc. etc. Also, whereas in the past, we had competion--4 or 5 major exit polls, now we have one. And I agree, i checked in with Imus this am. He was terrible--very criical of Kerry, etc. Washinton Journal--c-span has the question--Should the Dems give up on the South. Typical responses --yet, one very informed women called in and NO. She was delightful.
