I Can't Say What I Really Want To Say (small rant)
I'd make DU look bad. All I will say is that I hope nothing goes well for bushco. I hope they get what they want and that it's disasterous for this country. The sooner we hit bottom the sooner we can start rising. I don't know if we'll be able to recover from this administration, but I want the 'thugs to screw up so badly that the majority of Americans finally see them for what they are.

1. Many of us can't say what we really want to say...
I hope we "hit bottom" quickly too.

3. I compare * to cancer
to kill it, you must eliminate its ability to feed off of the body. sometimes that means partially killing the body. Ist the present body of America healthy enough to survive? I think * is going to take us to the brink!

2. Your logic has one flaw
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 09:50 AM by cubsfan forever
and that is the assumption that the majority of 'Merkuns will come to their senses if the fascists go too far. This assumes that kool aid drinkers actually think for themselves. Remember, over half of 'Merkuns still think Saddam was behind 9-11. :puke:

I hope you are correct, though. Thanks for your thoughts!

4. Yeah, but...
If God told them to vote for Bush, then Bush fucks up, they'll look you in the eyes and say it wasn't their fault... God made them do it!

5. There is so much I can't say that I want to say, even in private emails!
Can't even say it on the phone.

I hear you!

It's kind of like having your shoulder come out of its socket, you know you need it snapped back into position as quickly as possible.

America has chosen the hard, dark, brutal path. It's a choice we were given the EXTREME privilege to make. And we chose the dark path. All I can say is that I hope we travel down it as fast as possible so that we, as you say, can rise up from the ashes. And may a humble nation rise up from that.

8. I'll demur
and fall back on what I know to be true; that some things don't fit into language very well. Use your imagination. Read between the lines. I suspect I'm not expressing what many others aren't expressing either. At least here in a public forum.

7. Look at it this way...
When all of this starts to go wrong, the republicans will finally have to do what they've been loathe to do in the past: take the blame. There's no Clenis, no dodging, no weaseling, no denying. It's all them.

12. Exactly right
When Bush* can't (or won't) deliver on his promises, or when his supporters are called on to sacrifice to the cause (i.e. offer themselves or their children for the draft), they'll be the first to cry foul. Bush* will be standing alone with no one else to blame.

Unfortunately, we'll be in the soup with them. :-(

10. Is this secret code for wishing bad on troops?
I certainly hope not. I just found out one of my friends is missing
:-(

Lets keep our heads on straight and not make the same mistake as was made by protestors in the 60's.

Lets stop the war. Stay focused on that. Even if Kerry won we would have a duty to stop the war because he was not promising to pull out.

11. Counter-inaugural
Don't give up...

Let them have it!

We're organizing the biggest counter-inaugural protests ever, and you can be involved. Some are calling for an entire stoppage of the inauguration.
