Has he gone into hiding. Where are the 1,000s of lawyers? What is Michael Moore doing. Why is it so quiet?

And I put absolutely nothing past Bush, Rove and crowd. Somewhere, somehow, sometime, someone will stand up to these people and put this world right again. It's all that gives me hope anymore.

I think it only took one phone call to remind Kerry of the Skull and Bones pledge to support each other and the goals of the fraternity.

Now. At the time I thought Perot was a wacko nut, but now that I know the BFEE and KKKRove, I believe his kids were threatened. If Kerry WAS threatened, I just can't see him keeping his mouth shut about it.

13. Personally, I don't believe Kerry was threatened. |
|
I think he decided the nation was imperiled by another challenged election, and that he was serving the greater good by calling for America to "pull together."
I think he meant well. But I think he's wrong, as have been all who've made the same choice to cover up the high crimes of others.

he got his Anthrax-gram. The same goes for various ABC, CBS and NBC anchors. They rec'd Anthrax in the mail a few weeks after 9/11 and have been acting liked whipped puppies ever since.

What if the real message of the anthrax letters was not a threat to the pols or the anchors, but a threat to Americans from the BFEE? That is, don't investigate 9/11 or we will release anthrax on the general population. Just tin foil hatting.

22. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that about Daschle. |
|
I think every time he started acting more like he used to be, he gets a letter saying something like this: "Behave, Tom, or your family gets a box next week."
I lived in South Dakota for 18 years, and I was there when Daschle started in Congress. He was an excellent public servant for South Dakota in his early years.

John Kerry is one of the relatively few contemporary politicians who has proven to have physical courage (unless you believe the SBVT). He may have gotten old and tired in the interim, or lost his élan or something. Or they threatened his kids. I don't know. But he's not the first politician I'd suspect of being intimidated into doing something against his morals.

|
It's a damn slim hope, but I am still holding onto it. If there is evidence of voter fraud or a conspiracy (of any size) to rig the election for Bush, Kerry could easily still waltz into the White House on January 20th. That is, if any of it gets press.

way a lot of the actions of the Democratic leadership makes any sense in the past four years. Whether it's personal threats against family, or a promise to unleash anthrax through population, I think threats were behind it.
What did Cheney mean when he said voting for Kerry would cause us to be attacked by terrorists again?
This is why it's going to be up to us to throw everything we can at the Bushistas to get them out of power. We can't hope that another election is going to get rid of them. We have to start putting the pressure on beginning yesterday.

Sometimes the abject caving in of our Congressional and Senatorial Dems makes sense only if someone is either threatening or blackmaililng them.
If they are, they need to get together, stand up, and expose the threats.
Extortionists and blackmailiers, like cockroaches, flee from the light.

I've found that some of the biggest political skeptics around are the elderly women in my extended family. The first person who outside of DU who expressed doubts about the Wellstone crash was my 90-year-old great aunt, who has never used a computer in her life.
They're like Miss Marple--everything you need to know about human nature can be learned by long observation of what goes on in a small community.

You know how they say 10% of our brains do all the work? Well, the other 90% thinks up crazy shit, and this is what the 90% said to me while I was driving down the road Saturday:
It's Ohio, stupid. Osama said the state that delivered a Bush victory would be the state he would attack. Kerry conceeded to save Ohio, thereby NOT giving Osama a firm target.
Yeah, tin-foily... but the same 90% of my brain thinks Elvis really MIGHT be alive.

You know the insinuation of the sinclair-swiftboat liars peice, well that by questioning the war, kerry introduced indecision in to the command structure which, they said, caused more american deaths and america to lose the viet nam war.
Well, they surely applied a similar thought chain, threatening to blast kerry with all guns blazing, for introducing instability and questioning in to the leadership during war time, and while our boys are at risk in falluja and what not.
I'm sure they did not further outline the threat, as kerry knew how effective they would be at destroying him, since he's just a regular civilian citizen with no right to be safe from attack from his government.

34. I recall reading that the party leadership was going to urge Kerry |
|
to concede. So he likely was under pressure from the party in addition to just looking at Ohio alone and the estimated number of provisional ballots that convinced him it was lost. (Although the numbers of provisional ballots varied so much in different reports, I wonder what his source was. Hope it wasn't the Ohio Secty of State's office.)

When Kerry was in Dayton Ohio just before Nov 2nd, our local Preist (a democrat)had to call the church that Kerry planned to attend that day and convince them to give him communion. Those fundies can get violent if they feel threatened.
I think they definitely had a factor in the speed of concession

I think we are up against something very similar to what the German people faced in 1932. I also think that we have much more evidence than they did. We won't be able to claim that we didn't know. If people could only put the things they already know into the perspective that we all surely have 5 years from now.
