Election Fraud or Denial Phase of Grieving? |
|
Do we really have any clear cut evidence of vote tampering? It seems to me we should be suspicious and seek answers but to say it was fraud and Kerry actually won seems a bit off base to me. I have spent hundreds of hours in this campaign and I want very much to think we didn't lose but I think we need to be able to move on.

5. One last time: Lead, follow or just get the hell out of the way. |

It no longer makes a difference to me, at least in the great scheme of things, who is inaugrated in Janauary. That being said, it is extremely important to me -- and a few million others -- to ensure that our election process is legitimate.

6. Fraud. Because we all knew about it beforehand. |
|
If this were a sudden, unfounded manifestation of chicken-little-ism, I would say it's just denial. But in light of the 2000 election, and doubly so in light of all of the Diebold monkey business, I'm going with election fraud.

Alot of it is denial, I think. There's also just enough peculiarity in some of the voting patterns, machine "glitches", and exit polls and there's been no credible answer. Regardless of any voter fraud, this election should have been 70/30 and we still have to ask ourselves why it wasn't. People are not basing their votes on the facts in front of their face, seems to me.

There has been an undeniable pattern of fraud that began in 2000.

10. Are you in denial about the fact that there's been a right-wing coup? |
|
Denial cuts both ways, and I see far more signs of it in the people who want to believe everything is normal and keep play-acting.
Democrats can handle another electoral loss -- God knows we've had plenty of practice. But many people in this country can't handle the truth that our democracy is being stolen from us, one piece at a time.
