3. He is lining his duckies in a row before going on air with it |
|
he said he will talk to an MIT guy but will go on air with it
He said he does not want us to look like sore loosers or conspiracy theorists
I think he is being ultra careful since he enters far more markets than most of the rest of the crew

5. He said that he does plan on covering this because there are |
|
legit questions about the election but he wants to have basically, all of his stuff together before he does, as the earlier poster said.He said that he's been deluged with info from listerners.

6. He basically said he wasn't ready to say that the election was stolen |
|
but that he has received many emails wanting him to address it. He wants the facts before he will jump to conclusion but stresses it is important to get the facts.

7. He needs to handle it like this.. |
|
The moment he says it, they will start in on him.
He needs proof. Lots of it.
Randi can get away with ranting about FRAUD. She has been a soldier.
They are playing Good Cop Bad Cop and that is OK with me.

8. Not that it matters to the liberals |
|
but Bill O'lielly never passes up a chance to go after Al. I can just imagine his talking points for 2 months going after Al and the "liberals". Since perception is reality to his viewers this movement could be hampered by misinformation by faux news et.al. Careful is better.

12. The one where we try not to piss off the Republicans |
|
Even when they were out of power, did Limbaugh ever pull punches? Did Faux News?
I'm not talking about lying my ass off like they are, but whatever happened to speaking truth to power?
Careful does not impress the voters. That should be obvious right now.

13. You know, I think half the reason (note: I am not saying the entire reason |
|
Bush won in 2000 is because those dumbass fools at faux news called Florida for him when the AP still said it was too close. Once the perception set in that Bush won, Gore was fighting an uphill.
I am simply stating I don't want to see that happen with this voter fraud story. It is far to important. I would much rather gather all of the facts and present a solid case to the public (hopefully it will get that far). Truth to power, absolutely! Let's show we have the truth on our side.

14. If you don't make noise about it now, even before we have 'solid' proof |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 01:36 PM by htuttle
...everyday that goes by makes it more unlikely that anything would change as a result, even if fraud were discovered.
Did the Republicans have solid proof before they launched the investigations against Clinton?
No. Not that I want to be 'just like them', but accusing first and trying to prove it later obviously didn't hurt their political 'capital' much.

17. Hell, I don't know the best way to handle this. |
|
I am just a 36 year old lady sitting behind a computer. I can't pretend to know the way this should be handled. In the same manner I can't pretend to know what John Kerry is doing.
I am not being an asshole but I can't pretend to have the answers because I don't. I am not even sure of the questions yet.

If you read any of my posts, I want FRAUD exposed now!!!!
But, in Al's case, if he says it, it's almost like Kerry said it.
I am still holding out hope that there is a reason for the silence.

21. Franken was very close to the campaign and (the biggest reason) |
|
he is so cautious, I think, is that he really does intend to run for MN Senate in 08.
Nonetheless, he has been dirctly representing the campaign as he went around the country for appearances (unrelated to AAR), so I'm sure that makes him cautious. But, yeah, it Pisses me the hell off!

22. Nothing earth shattering |
|
His MIT PhD elections specialist basically said there wasn't much worth looking at with the issue of exit polls vs actual votes because there's no real science to the exit polling. However, he felt that it was legitimate for folks to question the discrepancies between Democratic registrations and ultimate tallies for Kerry in any counties. He said this would be especially useful where paper ballots were used so that a recount was possible. The discussion then went to callers and not much more analysis of any use was provided. Seemed truncated.
