How much are we willing to take?

I'm feeling a little angry this morning and wondering how much we are willing to suffer from this administration? It seems to me way too many of us are willing to just let this admin take over and wait 4 more years to try to get them out of power. The thing is people don't you realize that they now know how easy it really is to steal an election right from under our noses and they have no intention of giving up the power they now have?!

How many of us are willing to live with the following?

Gas over $3 a gallon
A war in the middle east that systematically involves all oil producing companies
Drilling in the Alaskan wilderness
Women losing the right to choose
The Patriot Act being tightened so that the government has the right to take you away for any small reason
A President who thinks it is his job to start the third WW
Our civil rights being stripped one by one
A new branch of the Military for use here at home to intimidate and keep us in line (SS)
A draft - and watching our best and brightest of the next genreation being blown up for oil.

and the list goes on and on


You think I'm kidding? Well then sit back in your comfy chair and watch what the next couple of years brings. I'm not willing to do that - doesn't anyone feel like I do?

We need to do whatever we can (legally) to stop this monster before it takes over our lives and our spirits.

What do you think can be done legally to change the results...The results are bad but they are what they are. There does not seem to be enough evidence of fraud to change the results. Fraud? Yes...but enough to overturn the results...Unlikely.

You angry and want to fight? Harness the anger into determination to fight the administration over the next four years. You will need the energy because now they will be relentless in trying to push their agenda through..

7. FIGHT BACK! THATS WHAT!

We should not think in terms of four years, We need to start organizing for the low turnout mid terms. The Senate is only a few votes away from the magic 60 votes the fascists need to pretty much set up a total one party state. New Hampshire went Dem in a big way, and has a total chump up for reelection in John SunuNuke, who can be ousted. What about your state?

I think we need to start fighting these guys on there own battlegrounds. Call in to their talk shows, and give them hell. Get on open forums, and shake em up - I post on automobile-related forums, because a lot of middle class southern white guys, who are the ones we need to win over, are on these forums. If you want to really mix it up with the fascists, log on to expensive car forums that cater to Mercedes. Porsche, Lexus and the like. They usually have an "off topics" forum where the fat asses are having a little hate fest and are indoctrinating the younger guys in Savage-speak. I have been giving them hell. They closed down one forum I was posting on because they couldn't kick me out for just posting Democrat positions - it was a Mercedes forum run by a business and I am convinced they started getting complaints from the The White Man saying they would take their business elsewhere if they didn't shut me down. I have currently moved to benzworld.org "off topics" and they are having fits over me. Fell free to join up, you don;t even have to have a Mercedes.

I have also joined in with a poster at mediamatters.org in declaring a personal war on a talk show host who broadcasts in San Francisco and Dallas, whose trademark is calling Democrats "rats" throughout his show. I hate this SOB. Here is a copy of the guys post that got me started on this - it will make your blood boil too. I did as he asked and wrote angry emails to his advertisers. Please join in!

5. What's to be done? Really?

I'm active in local politics (helping the Greens, sorry). But what exactly can be done about this presidency? The Republicans now control all three branches of government and the mainstream media. Our own candidate won't even acknowledge any voting irregularities, and apprently isn't going to challenge anything.

9. Start a sticky thread

I'm new here, but we need to start a "sticky thread"-one that always appears at the top of the thread list, where we can keep a list of who advertises on shows that use these Nazi style tactics. I travel a lot in my job, and there are three blatant ones that we should absolutely refuse to do business with their advertisers - Michael Savage, David gold, and Mike Gallagher (sp?) are the worst I have heard in the 24/7 hate attack the right wing is firing at us all over this country. These men are FASCISTS and I am not using that word lightly. Consider: Savage is now advocating mass arrests of "filthy liberal scum" - thats you and me guys. Gallagher was advocating the cancellation of elections. This Gold guy wants us exterminated. You can sit on your duffs and wait for the knock on the door or you can join me in asking this forum to put up a centralized place where we can post the email address of the advertisers, the comments make by the "talk show host" (aka Republican Party SS gruppenfuhrer) so we can all email our outrage to the SPONSORS, the only way to hurt these guys. Why are we helping to pay these guys? I get my taxes done, slip H&R Block a check, and they pay some asshole to call us "rats", "scum" and "traitors". WAKE UP!

BTW - if you go to www.goldtalk.com, you can use the Search function without having to login. Pull it up, type in "rats" and get a load of what they think of you. I'll guarantee you'll get a real wake up.

Anybody that's been paying any sort of attention the last four years is angry.

I just don't see that it is doing my health, or that of the country, any good right this second. Will get back to more productive organization work soon.
