1. I'm sure someone will find direct links but here's what I read
I can't remember where I read this but...

Basically what I heard is that exit polls were never designed nor intended to be used to preduct election outcomes. Rather, they're designed to track demographics, attitudes towards specicific issues etc. among people who voted. I am far from a poll expert but I have worked on numerous research projects as part of my job and this makes some sense to me. Television networks and politicos are notorious for trying to use/twist the results of polls in ways they were never intended.

3. I saw one
on CNN on Friday...he said that the problems was the misuse of preliminary exit polls and that the final exit polls were exactly the way the election went.

If this is true, then my suspicion is that as soon as the first results came out (around 2PM Central time), the RW hate radio folks started motivating their troops to come out en masse. I had this suspicion on election day when my wife and I went to vote just before 7PM and the line TO REGISTER to vote was huge. The people standing in line to register were (I hate to stereotype) mostly NASCAR type folks...even saw that baseball caps and jackets...this worried me a lot.

The line to actually vote in our ward was only about a 10 minute wait. The local repubs had their imported kids out beating the bushes (no pun intended) for voters. We finished our lists about 3 pm.

4. Go over to
www.bbc.com & watch the live interview with George, Sr. He's already talking about eliminating and outlawing exit polls.

Now, if any of you just voted in the poll that asks if you think this election was stolen or not, and you only voted possibly, this certainly should change your mind. Now they want to get rid of the exit polls !!!!

Makes me sick, and it's starting people, the Nazis are here.
