My friend's dad was an election lawyer in Ohio |
|
I have to ask her if they are still working on the case, but she said there was definitely fraud. Her father was harassed in the weeks before the election, and followed around by people with video cameras.
I urge people not to underestimate the gall of the Republicans in power today. Perhaps they control more and are more threatening than anyone thinks. Perhaps Kerry conceded so quickly because he did not want to be another Wellstone, or find anthrax in his mailbox like Daschle.
I wouldn't put anything past these sociopaths.

2. SOmeone who would lie to start a war to murder 100,000 people |
|
would rig an election.
In their minds, they are the all-knowing lords, and are travails are petty compared to theirs. We are pets, no more.

Has anyone started anykind of petition drive to get rid of no-reciept voting machines? The damn things are the seeds and roots of the new dictatorship.

8. This time it was the paper ballots |
|
that were the scene of the crime. I think repubs thought the focus would be on the touch-screen machines. The results on those machines were near normal. They didn't think anyone would notice the paper ballots (Opti-Scan machines are Diebold product, just found that out today).

9. I absolutely believe this |
|
Arrogance knows no bounds with these people and they know that if they are lying it doesn't matter because only a minority will know or care...they lie openly and get away with it time and time again.
And the bottom line is WHO CAN STOP THEM?
Basically no one!
