Note to Bush supporters & Repugs about vacationing in the Blue States
The people that live in blue large metropolitan cities that you people vacation in are very angry.

When you plan your vacations to our cities you better plan on leaving your republican t-shirts at home and you better knock the smirk off of your face or you might get that done for you.

I am sick of tourists coming to our cities and flaunting a thief on their t-shirts. I am sick of seeing you people wrapped in flag embellished clothing and acting as if you have a connection with God.

You come to my city and cope that attitude I can guarantee you that "us" the ones in blue cities that have higher educations they you people have might get so angry that instead of words it could become physical.

BTW Don't plan on bringing your guns into our cities because we "whoop" ass with our bare hands. We don't need a gun to make us feel like we are powerful.

Do yourself a favor and take your flag draped ass to a red state for a vacation.

Warning: "Get over it" is not a phrase that I would use in any blue states if i were you guys. Especially NY....they will never get over it and neither will any of the real Americans that fight for your rights in the blue states.

I am sick of worrying about your poor and hungry and the next time someone asks me to donate to feed the children or anything that will help the poor in the red states well, I don't want to be crass but they can "Kiss my blue state ass".

3. Perhaps they'd rather go to Europe this year. Oh, wait.
China. How about China? They can visit factories and watch our jobs.

Brazil? They'll enjoy Brazil. It's positioning itself to take over in the power vacuum George is leaving in the Americas while he's obsessed with Iraqi oil.

India? Again. Do a tour of our jobs.

What other fun, safe places can Americans visit?

Don't even dream of asking directions to the 9/11 site. The victims in that hole were liberals, faggots, brown-skinned and brown-religioned people, feminists, immigrants, etc. May their ghosts haunt you to your own grave.

We knew from day one that the only thing that made you red motherfuckers cry was that OBL did it first. We do NOT want you here. Stay the fuck home.

36. Yeah, I get it. Figure out a way to organize....
Of course it's hard work. They work hard too.

But one thing does seem very clear...you can no longer rely on New York and Hollywood to come in, hold rallies and canvas in your areas. It just seems to inflame your culture-warrior neighbors even more than they already are.

As for the fundies, I think the better strategy is to break their blind-faith in the GOP. In my discussion with fundies, I've found it surprisingly easy to illustrate that the GOP is just using them. In the past 10 years, the GOP has been stunningly effective at passing legislation that benefits the rich, yet have done nothing beyond lipservice on issues that freak evangelicals out. I don't try to win their vote.

One upside for 2008 that I see is that if major social legislation is not passed in the next 4 years (and it won't because the GOP leadership has never been serious about this crap), the evangelicals will NOT be pleased. My belief is that enough of them will simply become disenchanted with the GOP and stop voting.

40. what did *we* do to help? this is PRECISELY my point!!!
We're in a culture war here. New York and Hollywood were in your states for the past 6 months canvassing and rallying...and most likely this inflamed the culture jihadists MORE than inspire new voters. And you want MORE New Yorkers to come into your neighborhoods and preach. Yeah, that will work.

This is my point: it's time to take the pampers off and stop relying on the blue states to come up with a magic solution. The GOP is kicking your ass out there, and they're doing it on the local level.

FIRST of all, I didn't see a single fucking New Yorker or Hollywood "elite" here in Texas. Not a single one.

So I don't know what the hell you are talking about with that. You are talking out your ASS. No repukes here were inflamed by blue staters coming here preaching to them, because it DIDN'T HAPPEN.

What color is the sky on your planet?

As for the local level, well isn't it lovely that you can sit there in your (presumably) blue state and bitch to ME, someone who has logged more miles canvassing than a lot of people I know. Someone who has been networking on the local level for Dems for two years now.

Why don't you get off your ass, move to a red state and help us the fuck out?

You know what they say, don't you? Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way.

I've NEVER relied on the blue states for SHIT. Stuff it.

And the DNC and the Kerry campaign took our contributions and didn't send a dime back here. Everything we did, we did on our own. In my county, we increased Kerry's total by 71 THOUSAND votes over Gore's. No thanks to New York and Hollywood. And busloads of our people went to Florida, Arkansas, Colorado, and New Mexico to bust their asses for our lackluster candidate and his stillborn campaign. And if they saw New York and Hollywood while they were there, they haven't told me about it. And by the Hollywood, good job on keeping that idiot Schwarzeneger out of the governor's mansion on on the movie lot where he belongs!

prejudge much? There are many of us here in red states that are working hard to change things. You try bringing your big mouth down here, live and work amongst the religious right day in an day out while trying to effect change and watch your own blood pressure go sky high.

Those people living comfortably in a blue state and making these kind of comments don't even begin to know what it is to fight this battle.

I live in one of them red states and when we went up North which by the way supposedly went red in this one state of Ohio, we got our new truck keyed because of the Texas plates I am sure. Honestly, my husband deserved it so I don't particularly care but then again, there are many in Texas who did their best to oust this madman who claims he is just a good ole boy..

He just fails to elaborate that he is the good ole boy from hell and not the deep south....

So next time someone intends to begin a war of words against someone in the south to the degree that violence is in order. Don't be a supporter of this adminstration who strikes first and asks questions after....

Then you become no better than them...and they win even if you don't realize this...

55. Southern Red States have the highest divorce rates
They are the least healthy. They are moochers off the federal dole. They take out their own moral failings on others. Fuck them. And yea - we do whip ass with our bare hands. Red staters are fuckin' weak ass immoral sick pieces of shit.

59. I
have lived in Kentucky,Texas,Tennessee and Virginia,I discuss my Politics all the time with with these redstaters and have never lost a argument.I tell them about the truth and whats going on,many of them think that Democratic Ideas are Republican owned ideas.I haven't met a real Democrat or anyone for that matter with any knowledge of politics in 6 years!.

these people are just plain apathetic, uninformed and right wing radio saturated, most only have avg intelligence (Exception Dallas some smart people there but still apathetic)

I think apathy is the biggest problem we have in selling to the red staters they just don't care about others that much, and just don't care enough to learn why Republicans are bad for them.

Buch of chickens voting for Col.Sanders.

Well, here's a an arguement your gonna lose, partner. I'm a "real Democrat" and have lived in Tennessee all my life, and apparently, you've never talked to me about politics, because the only one I know thats left of me and my Democratic friends here in Tennessee, is Karl Marx.

62. Sorry if I misunderstood your post.
First paragraph said you had not met a real Democrat in 6 years. I had assumed you were talking about the South since that was the jest of your comments. My bad.

68. I visit NYC at least three times a year
I stay at an RV park across the river from Manhattan in Jersey City. There's always a bunch of red staters there on some tour or another, so I know them well. They travel in RVs the size of two city buses, pulling a 4-wheeler. In the summer, that's nice, because they provide shade for my little van.

The others, the tenters and, like me, the little vans are from other countries and, I swear, almost always blue states.

The big rig people travel on tour buses and in groups, not daring to venture out alone. The rest of us use PATH, light rail, ferries, bicycles, and water taxis to get around.

But you want to know how dumb these big riggers are. There is a public shower and restroom located right next to the street in the middle of Jersey City. It has a security lock. Scared as they are to venture out by themselves, they leave the door ajar, so they don't have to use the key.

69. By the way...my best friend who is from New England...
well he used to be my best friend....trying to keep my friendships in tact is hard with consevatives these days, even family members.

He's the biggest freeper in the entire world....worse than Imus.

Say the word Clinton or Moore, his head explodes. The guy is orginally from Boston I believe, but spent most of his life in Rhode Island. Racist, you have no idea.

Go figure,......huh....

Me I'm an Alabama native, and live in the Florida Panhandle...a total opposite of this guy.

My point here is.....

Clean your own Blue State House up first before you start pointing fingers and threatening people from a certain parts of the country.

Man Taps Fortune To Dig Into `Coverup` Of Sept. 11
By BRAD SMITH bsmith@tampatrib.com
Published: Nov 9, 2004

TAMPA - The son of a Tampa industrialist who earned a fortune building homes is spending millions of dollars to promote his theory of a coverup surrounding history's most infamous building collapse.
``I knew we'd been attacked by somebody bigger and better equipped than 19 screw-ups from Saudi Arabia,'' Jimmy Walter said Monday from Santa Barbara, Calif. ``This needed to be told, and nobody else was standing up.''

Walter, whose late father founded Jim Walter Corp. in Tampa in 1946 and saw it grow to generate billions of dollars in sales, contends the Sept. 11 attacks went beyond the terrorists of Al-Qaida. U.S. leaders knew in advance, he argues, and failed to act.

To spread his ideas, Walter, 57. is funding a $3 million ad campaign in national magazines, newspapers and on television to press for more investigation beyond the work of the independent 9/11 Commission.

Walter, who still has a brother and friends in Tampa, called this year's commission report incomplete.

``I don't care if they say I'm an eccentric millionaire,'' he said. ``I say, `Duh! I am!' I don't have a wife or kids. They can't fire me, and banks can't call my loans. It's an opportunity for me to do something no one else was doing.''

So far, Walter's ads have appeared in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the Daily News, as well as on ``The Howard Stern Show,'' CNN, ESPN, Fox News and in The New Yorker magazine.

Glenn Corbett, a fire science professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York and a participant in an investigation of the trade center collapse by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, said he agrees with Walter that more investigation is needed.

A recent Zogby poll of New Yorkers' opinions about the 9/11 investigation found 49 percent believe some U.S. leaders knew in advance and ``consciously failed to act.'' The poll also found that 66 percent of New Yorkers want more investigation.

Walter, who relocated to California from Florida in 2001, said he is disappointed that his campaign hasn't ignited more response. He said his Web site has received about 400,000 hits, but only about 2,600 people have signed a petition asking for an investigation by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer.

What are you saying? That "us" northerns might have grown up in the welfare system and as dumb as a bag of nails.

My family was originally from the south but I grew up in the north. They didn't divorce, they were not ignorant, they were not on welfare, one was Christian and they were both Democrats.

"Us" Blue state people have huge hearts and the red states shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them when they need a handout.

75. Thank You
I'm sick of these "red state" stereotypes floating about. I have family in Georgia who were plenty upset by the election.

I will always remember the flood of "blue" through the South on the 2004 election map.

I've met plenty of conservatives in Michigan.
