We should impeach any Bush SCOTUS appointments |
|
Instead of worrying about impeaching bush (not possible with republican congress) we should be worried about impeaching his appointments.
If he appoints fascists to the SCOTUS (or even lower courts) that attempt to remove constitutional rights from citizens then whenever we regain the congress a first order of business should be impeaching them. Letting such people sit on the court for 20+ years is unacceptable.
Hopefully whatever congress people we elect will do it.

1. WE have to ensure fair voting and fair vote counting first |
|
We have to get Senate bill s1980 and House bill HR2239 passed first THEN IMPEACH THE THEOCRATIC THUGS

2. So confirm them, then impeach them? |
|
Wouldn't it be easier just to stop the confirmation?

What are dems supposed to do? In case you haven't noticed we have a minority in the senate. It will NOT be dems confirming them - it will the republican majority.
So are dems just supposed to filibuster every appointment for the next 4 years? Yea, that'll be a GREAT way to win an election.
So - republicans confirm the fascists, democrats impeach them.

It only takes 40 votes to filibuster. It's damn near impossible to impeach. But otherwise, your strategy is solid.
