I will no longer watch cable news
Email every news in the US that you know. Tell them you will not watch. Let them know that we will not view them if they don't actually report the truth. Hit them were their pocketbooks are!

2. Tell CNN to air their international version
I saw some clips from it yesterday, where Amy Goodman was speaking.
It's not the FOXified stuff they show here.

8. Less TV, more time for Life
One of the few good outcomes of this election result is that I just can't watch these people on TV any more - repugs, demos and the news clubbies (FOX< CNN< MSNBC). As a news junkie that is difficult, but time to break the habit and spend time in more enjoyable pursuits - time with kids, wife, friends, exercise, gardening, playing and listening to great music, doing other creative -life affirming activities. That includes being a more active activists - working locally, thinking at least nationally - always globally
Peace to all.

10. I did that a long time ago.
Harming them financially is the ONLY thing that will ever make them consider a change.

12. I have had a hard time
Watching since election night...In fact I have hardly watched at all. Turn on the news and its all about Bush, his agenda, his cabinet, his bullshit mandate, or what sickens me most....the dems who come on to talk about "giving the pres a chance" or "try to unite". Wheres the fighting words? This country is divided and the news is acting like they just crowned Bush the new emperor....sickening...

Well call me crazy but I do not feel like uniting with the other side, I feel like fighting them more on the issued that count. So I have been coming here instead (had been trying to register for this place for a week untill I spoke to the admin who let me reg)
