I was listening to a woman on Pacifica Radio this morning whose son is in Iraq guarding a prison in the Sunni Triangle area. She said because this is a "Halliburton" run army, the soldiers have to drive to another city to get their mail because the army says it's too dangerous to deliver. Convoys are being attacked on the roads and there are many more injuries than reported, since only deaths are being reported.
How can we find out exactly what roles Halliburton is playing in running this army....food, communications, housing etc?
as an aside, one of the women interviewed...it might have been her, said she had to send water and food over since Halliburton wasn't doing its job. What do people supporting this war think about that?

Until this hits the mainstream "media" and the whores begin reporting as opposed to fellating this admin (which means you will never hear this reported on Faux), there will be no outrage at the DISSERVICE being done our servicemembers. This is the most criminal and corrupt "administration" in the history of this country....in the meantime, men and women will continue to suffer and die for Bush and his criminal lies.

4. Wait a second - it's too dangerous to deliver the mail, so |

soldiers have to risk their lives to go and get it themselves? I recently read a nostalgic excerpt about life in the military, and the author said the mail was always given priority. Even if they couldn't deliver the food on time, they made sure the mail got there. So much for the Haliburton "morale... what morale?" army.

My nephew recently came back from Iraq after spending 10 months there. He said he received little mail once the hostilities officially started. Things he didn't receive? Care packages from his parents, letters from his fiance, dozens of letters of supports from school kids, letters from his brother stationed elsewhere, letters from me. He also reported substantial problems with rations (its only MREs, fer chrissakes!), water, and suncreen.
Halliburton is doing it on the cheap, and with no oversight, are making out like bandits. * needs to be gone in '04 and whoever replaces him needs to open a sunstaintial investigation. I'll bet it wouldn't take a 70$ million investiagtion to put * and Cheney and all the other crooks in Leavenworth....

8. How much does H. make for every dead soldier? |
|
I'd really like to know. If Chenney's company makes 250 million from Iraq this year, and we lose 250 soldiers, that means each soldier is worth 1,000,000 to the Vice President's company.
I wonder if the soldiers get anything special - linked to how much Chenney's friends make. I know they did in Catch-22.
