Anyone see Jerry Fallwell lay out bush's agenda on CNN tonight? |
|
I flipped to CNN right after Keith O's report on this stolen election was over, and only listened for a minute or two. Some of what I heard was that "they" - the fallwell/robertson cult, had "delivered 30 million votes" and that they expect a vigorous "Christian" agenda from little hitler.
He listed a flat tax (God is for a flat tax?), an amendment barring gay marriage, and pro-life "strict constructionist" judges. He was very, very unhappy w/ Arlen Spector - for the stance AS took on an anti-Roe test for new judges, but also because AS helped keep Bork from the Supreme Court. Fallwell did say, tho, that Frist would take care of this "minor bump in the road."
You'd think a guy that worships an all caring God would be more for seeing to the health of all people rather than a "flat tax" - you'd think. I do not get these fundies.
So odd, seeing Keith on one news channel, reporting the truth of the "election" and bringing into question the results, and fraud, while, at the same time, on another channel, there is a hypocrite extreme laying out an agenda of selfishness and hate, because he and his kind provided the votes to give bush his "mandate."
Anybody else see this?

"http://mediamatters.org/items/200411080004" Falwell denied his habit of comparing homosexuality to bestiality, crack addiction During an interview with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, fundamentalist Baptist pastor and Moral Majority founder Reverend Jerry Falwell denied ever having equated homosexuality to "smoking crack and bestiality" -- a comparison Falwell has in fact made on several occasions.
From the November 5 edition of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360:
COOPER: I know in the past you believe homosexual behavior is immoral, a sin, you've equated it with smoking crack, bestiality. But what is the threat to you? What is -- I mean, two men saying that they love each to each other, what's the threat?
FALWELL: Well, I haven't equated it to anything, but I believe that the scripture makes it clear that all sexual activity outside of marriage between a man and a woman is wrong, whether it's heterosexual promiscuity or homosexual activity. MORE

9. Something about the flat tax. |
|
First, let me say this isn't the best system. But we aren't talking about best now. The flat tax isn't fair but it's going to trap a lot of those guys who didn't pay taxes at all. It will backfire on them.

million? Food for thought.
My guess is Bush will piss of the far right so they are discouraged in 08 when they don't get Roe v Wade overturned and concentration camps for Gays. :eyes:

We need to expose these charlatans for what they are!
These people could care less about people. If they did, they'd be doing things like Jimmy Carter who lives a very humble life.

18. Well if it's a flat tax that we are getting, |
|
then caps will have to come off of SS taxes -- and we might as well apply the same taxes to all income.
Tax simplification, you understand... And a flat tax should be truly flat, don't you think.

You know the tax will be regressive if it is, in fact, flat.

This "man" needs to be locked up and the key thrown away. It should have happened a LONG time ago. My only comfort is the thought that one of his victims may someday take matters...
Nevermind, can't say it here.
