Why the lack of investigations over Chuck Hagel? |
|
I never really paid much attention to that story until I listened to Randi talk about him yesterday. So here's the summary: Chuck Hagel won the Nebraska Senate seat in 1996, which at the time was one of the bigger upsets considering he had been behind in most polls by a comfortable margin.
Speed up to 2003 when it comes out that this same man, who won the Senate, a first for a Republican in that state for 24 years, just happen to be the former CEO of ES&S, the company....The only company to provide the electronic voting machines that counted 85% of the votes the year that he won. he did not disclose this at the time. When I Google that election, they have him down as an "investment banker".
I had my doubts about the voter fraud angle, I'll admit. But knowing what I know about this Republican whose best interests would be to keep his buddies in office, and that he lied about running a company that counts ballots on top of that, it boggles the mind that this isn't being taken more seriously...

National media is on lockdown on the totality of this story. I just heard that, within the last hour, from someone within the Washington Dem hierarchy.
That's why.
We have to prove our case.

....the freepers will say it's the liberal media protecting Hagel because he's more of a Republican in the McCain mold. I bet the hardcore GOP in Nebraska would LOVE to get him out so he could be replaced by a more "moral" Republican like Tom Osborne or some such person.....
