Anybody just watch the CNN interview with Paul Hill's "spiritual adviser"?
Paul Hill is facing a death sentence for killing an abortion provider in Florida.

Anderson Cooper really gave him a really good interview.

It was unbelievable what was coming out of that minister's mouth. He called other anti-abortion leaders cowards for not having the courage to do what Hill did or at least support him.

1. I have to admit
when it comes to people like Paul Hill (or the Ted Bundys of the world), it becomes more difficult to maintain my complete opposition to the death penalty.

So, maybe I'll just be content with the 9th Circuit decision today and not spend any energy feeling conflicted over Hill's impending end. Unfortunately, of course, this will only solidify his hero image to some.

2. Nothing like advocating murder because you don't like murder
At least that's what they consider abortion. Bunch of wack jobs.

3. Whack job is an understatement!
After the minister said the others were cowards, Cooper asked him if he was a coward and the guy said no so Cooper asked him if he was planning on killing an abortion provider because if that was Hill's justification, shouldn't he be doing it as well.

Then this guy says that God has a purpose for each person — apparently Hill's was to kill people — and that God hasn't said that was his path. Cooper got him to say that God told Hill to kill those people.

Then the minister (I hate even calling him that because he certainly doesn't deserve the title) said he is only one man and only can do one thing at a time. For example, everyone in China is going to hell because they haven't been saved so why isn't Cooper asking him why he wasn't in China.

The interview was both revealing and frightening and I think Cooper did a really good job in letting this guy hang himself.

I'm not that familiar with Anderson Cooper. How would others here rate him?

4. Minister=
Some guy with a poor little church who got him some air time, and has dreams of a big congregation, a big church, a big mansion, big evangelizing tours that rake in the geets and lots of satellite uplink dishes in his backyard.

It's The New American Dream.

8. Maybe by next year, he'll have his own gigantic cathedral, ...
and lots of air time, for his Church of the Assassins. And he won't even have to get his congregation to use hash.
