straw has broken this camel's back - goodbye Washington Journal

the first guests on c-span's Wash. Journal this morning was a pair.

John Fund and Michael Tomasky

John Fund smirked, lied, spun. that's what he does. that's who he is.

Michael Tomasky was a wimp who said: "elitism is a problem of the democrats" "he didn't see any big voting problems"

Wash. Journal has been swirling down the bushgang drain ever so slowly but this morning was it for me.

1. I turned if off - as many here know I usually turn it on
first thing when I get up. It's not "fair and balanced" anymore.

2. I Felt The Same Way You Did About Tomasky But Not Wash Journal
They had Thomas Frank on a couple of days ago and it was great. You have to take the good with the bad but Tomasky really turned me off of the American Prospect...

Did you notice all the folks calling in about what God wants...God is very angry that we separated the holy land and Iraq is fulfillment of biblical prophecy...These folks is nuts and I think they feel vindicated to come out of their spider holes after Bush's election.

5. yes I noticed all the religiously insane calls

it was like being at a religious service.

when one of the callers was going on and on in a religious vein the 3 suits at the table stared off into space with the host letting her go on forever.

do you think Wash. Journal would be brave enough to tell callers not to talk religion, just talk politics?

Naw

3. Well, he is partly correct and right
"elitism is a problem of the democrats" The elitism of the Right, that is.

The other quote, "he didn't see any big voting problems" is caused by their arrogance. Now if the shoe was on the other foot, every vote not for bu$h would be a problem for him.

4. John "first I dated the mother, then I dated her daughter" Fund?
Edited on Thu Nov-11-04 11:58 AM by Stephanie

John "then I demanded the daughter get an abortion" Fund?

John "and then I was arrested on assault charges" Fund?

Moral values.
