Iraqi's are blaming the US, as long as we are there, there will be no security

5. on the new UN Resolution

A multinational force under American force, with a few political things also handed over to the UN, but Bremer and the Coalition would still have a big say.

Senior Military Officials are deparate for help.

John Cochran: Congress is angy, they have a lot to answer for.

UN Troops would be in charge of security: pipelines etc, but they would have to be trained.

Terry Moran: French are leading coalition that want the US to learn a lesson: "Don't abandon the UN & Allies"

6. I cannot see any Western nation
Going in to Iraq now. The place is a hornet's nest that Bush just stirred up. Any Western leader that sent in the sons and daughters of the electorate would be quickly voted out of power.

7. On Casualties
the Average was 10 wounded a soldiers a day in AUgust, and doesn't look like it will get better in September
