Where was TBTM Radio?
I used to listen faithfully to Take Back The Media's radio show each and every week. Not only were Stranger and Symbolman on target and hilariously funny, but strangely comforting as well, you know, like another voice in the wilderness saying, "I know, brother, everything's cool. Just hang in there." It was great, right up until the end of June.

I wish like mad that they had continued the show through the Fall, when it was really needed. I don't know whether they intend to revive it from its overly-long hiatus, but if we needed it then, well we sure as HELL need it now.

Is anyone here with me on this one? Was anyone else as faithful a listener?

I know American Stranger and Symbolman often post here, but I don't know if they'll see this post. If you do, for cripes sake, help us out here, Sym and Stranger! Walking in the wilderness again on the far side of the last election is even harder and more desperate than the first time around.

1. I listened

and they really rocked! But I think they're sort of giving it a rest now that Air America is here. When they first started, there was almost no one else out there.

On edit: I actually think they should be on Air America. They do as good of a job as many of the people on that network, and better than some.

2. I'm with you on that one.
Their only problems were that they often ran long (Problem for a radio station, not for us!), and that they sometimes used profanity a bit too gratuitously (again, for a radio station). I'm not a Mike Malloy kind of person; even though I typically agree with his ideas, I find him fairly harsh and lacking in humor. But if Malloy can find a slot on air, it seems to me these guys should be on in prime time!

Maybe their pal Jeanine should put in a good word....
