PHOTO: US military denies claims that Mosul outpost was looted!
"The US military has rejected claims that its bases in the northern town of Mosul were being looted. There had been reports that looters had descended on a palace in Iraq's third city that had been used as a military base.

"The report is completely wrong and absurd," said Lieutenant Colonel Paul Hastings.

2. There's one thing the Bush administration has granted me....
...in the past four years. I'm ceaslessly astonished by how completely insulated from reality Bush operatives seem to be. They really do seem to believe in the miracle powers of willfull ignorance and shared delusion.

wrong and absurd, words as meaningless to me now as Honesty and Integrity. These concepts have absolutely no coherent meaning to me anymore. Absurd? What could be more absurd then repeatedly denying reality, and having your drones go along with it? Wrong? Like taking a country to war and terrorizing its populace with lies and fear mongering?

6. "Baghdad Bob" Training
Seriously reminds me of the Iraqi they called "Baghdad Bob" who supposedly gave news conferences consisting of his own expressions of wishful thinking. Did this Hastings guy take lessons? Come to think of it, maybe Hastings gave the lessons!
