Do you believe we can still change the world?
I remember marching against the Iraq invasion. When I saw the massive demonstrations worldwide on Feb. 15, I thought surely they had to listen to us.

My faith was shaken when they launched "Shock and Awe."

For the past three years, I've done my part in trying to get Bush out of office, donating time and money.

I was crushed when I listened to Kerry's concession speech.

I truly believed I could help change the world. I'm not so sure anymore and I don't know what to do about it.

Anyone else having a crisis of faith (not in a religious sense)? What are you doing about it?

1. The world changes every day
Shake off the weak hand at the tiller and grasp it yourself. Steer your own ship.

2. cant do it without you
has been 20 years of apathy or more. over a decade of newt and then others thru limbaugh and fox and the corps to create this strangle hold. it is going ot take time and masses to do this. not gonna be easy and not gonna be quick. feeling in the middle, but are you seeing all the new people coming around, i am seeing people in my personal life paying attention.

cant do it without you. cant do it without more. need everyone. every voice counts and the more the better

3. I've been trying to change it for 65 years.
I think I'm finally getting discouraged.

4. We already have changed the world
It's just the beginning.

Three years is just a start. It will take many more years to get this done.

The Bushies won this battle; the war is far from over.

6. Many free thinkers Died changing the world and fighting the Church
So we have taken a few steps back well our battle is tiny compared to all the great free thinkers who argued the world was a sphere and Man came from Lemurs. Just think of Galileo and Newton and the odds they were up against. It's simply time to fight! We have all been sitting idly by while the Religious Rights army has been waging war against us. 11/2 was like the left getting hit by a hijacked plane. They were at war with us and we never saw it coming. Well, it's time to put on your body armor and get in on this Culture War, this war of Values. We have all the greatest minds on our side. Men like Jefferson, Einstein, Newton, Franklin, Jesus, Gandhi, Emerson, Washington etc. etc. It's time to arm ourselves with their truths and their teachings and kick some ass!
