Baby children are dying in Iraq. Our young men with no legs.
So how many of us DUers are going to help the soldier babies coming home with no legs, no arms, no eyes. The unwritten story of this undeclared war. I am SOOOOO upset right now! This Falluja BS is costing SOOO many unecessary lives. We must help our babies who are coming home maimed...What the hell are we fighting for!!! Hey! You out there who are so effing freaked out about the vote tallies, how about focusing on the carnage and finding a way to get some bucks to help them after our useless gov't casts them aside. They are OUR responsibility!!!

1. I'm not kidding
Babies 20 yrs old are coming home destroyed and the useless media can't handle an actual news story. I have people there!!! i don't want them dead! I have a 15 year old son, we have been having talks about his visiting his canadian relatives. I know the draft is coming.

11. Oh my god do't I know it
But you'll never see it on the sanitized news. In their news, anonymous people die, news statistics, no count of the slaughter we have brought upon the Iraqis and for what!!!! Answer, for freakin' what!!!?

5. Useless flame bait
"You out there who are so effing freaked out about the vote tallies..."

Direct that angst at the criminals while good people work on something ELSE we all desperately need. We don't all beat our chests in rythm- that doesn't mean there isn't concern.

7. Where did you come from!!!
I guess I am a little freaked that our young kids are dying for shit.
Compared to death, vote discrepancies pale. If you can solve the vote issue, cool. Who is helping to keep our young men alive>?????

15. It's haunts me every day.
I've been to every anti-war rally, written and called my congressman and senators, letters to the editors, donations and anything else I can think of.

But the vote discrepancies have everything to do with it. If we don't, right now, stop elections from being stolen there will be many more "wars" and many more devastated soldiers.

These criminals in power have big plans and they have only just begun.

Please try to see the connection.

8. I was praying today that they'd come home safely ..
that those who sent them there would be held fully accountable for their lies, deception, distortion, and callousness.

It breaks my heart.

Both voter fraud issues and this horrifying war were placed in front of Bush-voters, and they chose to vote for more of the same! Amazing!

9. I'm planning to contribute to peace organizations ...
and I suppose Veteran's orgs will definitely need help too. Our current administration does such a good job of taking care of them.

Oh, and yes, to this 45-year-old mom, these young soldiers are 'babies.'

And I want our 'babies' home. And I want us to stop bombing and killing Iraqi children. We don't even know who and what we're fighting for. Oh, yeah, somehow it's Halliburton's profits.

14. I'm a 49 y/o mom of 3
one daughter, two boys age 15 and 13. My daughter has been heavily recruited by the marines? even though she's a mom. They call all the time. My nephew is in Iraq, Falluja, as a communications officer. This is his third tour!!! He was home the last time for two weeks!!! There is something seriously wrong with this so-called war. To me, it looks like a slaughter house, and we gain zip.

13. I've been crying too
These kids and the kids over there.. Damaged and harmed in so many ways.

I just dont get why anyone is outraged over janet jackson's tit or two women kissing.

We will have to help them when they come home to our neighborhoods, and communties.. We have to give them jobs take up collections for them to help them etc.

I'm pretty sick over it. I'm pretty angry over it too.

what the hell was * thinking starting a damn holy war anyway!

16. All I can say is we must find a way to help our babies
when they get home and can't help themselves. this Useless gov't is more concerned w/ abortion and gay marriage than the carnage of the result of their stupid useless war. We seriously must be the caregivers and those with links, give 'em up! We need to help our young wounded men. businesses, must hire them. They will not be on the streets like the Vietnam vets. I am so upset!!!

17. We lost part of our soul in this illegal war
To know that the men that fought and come home without limbs and have to live in their cars because the army sued them to get a sign up bonus back just makes me ill .Physically ill.
That actually happened.
A soldier came back all shot up.The army demanded 2500.00 of signing bonus back from him because he didnt complete his four years. He didnt have the money so he couldnt pay.He couldnt get even an apartment due to the fact the army turned it into a collection agency as an unpaid government loan. There was also the poor soldier without a leg flown into chicago. He was trying to get home to colorado. He didnt have the money so he sat there for a few days trying to catch a transport plane. One of the airmen felt sorry for him and paid his ticket home.
Dozens of stories of soldiers going without needed prosthetics.

19. That is despicable
I had no idea they take back the sign up bonus if the soldiers can't complete their time due to injuries. Now I'm even more sickened by all this.

21. here in Illinois we lost 6 young men
last week-a soldier several miles from here is going to be in Texas for more than a year so the doctors can cut off parts of his body to put on other places that are missing. trying to save his only eye left and save part of his hearing....there are 400+ just this week just like him who will never be the same again and for what? to protect me? i don`t want his blood on my hands-i didn`t ask him to protect me. they are our responsibility because as citizens it is our duty to make sure they get the best and that it never ever happens again

22. We desperately need an ANTI WAR MOVEMENT!!
Where is it??!!!!!

Its busy getting recounts...I'm sad to say we are busy. Bush will do what he wants until January 20...Perhaps its best that the recount lay low until we can prove up our case. In the mean time take comfort in the knowledge that Falloojeh is NOT YOUR FAULT!!

Pray for them.. right now everything is out of our hands completely...

Much compassion and loving energy to you DianeG5385.
