I may be a bit impatient in this quagmire of coup #3, after all I'm just a useless eater like most.
How could this be happening? Why are people like BBV working so hard and he appears to be not for his lost votes?. I am so disheartened, so absolutely numbed. There are no heros for us.

It seems to me that had Kerry come out to fight this it would be a repeat of 2000. We have the same Supreme Court and more republican/conservative players this time around. Logically, we could expect the same outcome from 2000 and things would be much harder to counter. With thousands of lawyers and with both Kerry and Edwards being lawyers it seems like the smart move is to concede and then fly under the radar.
I hope this is what is going on, it's what I would do and I'm no lawyer.

5. That's what a lot of us are hoping he would do... |
|
...and if in fact that is what Kerry is doing, it would be brilliant...let the little emperor George strut around and let down his guard...
Electoral college hasn't met yet...and if the lil emperor is coronated Jan 20th, that doesn't exempt him and his cabal from impeachment if it ever came out that there was deliberate fraud in the elections tying up to the White House...that ofcourse doesn't include the war crimes they are guilty of....

Manage to slide by in this election, I don't see it as a defeat for our side. They are going to have to defend themselves against ourside which will continue to be united. The situaiton in Iraq and the economy is not going to improve for sometime. Shrub made this mess let him clean it up, I am gonna pop the popcorn and enjoy the show....

7. Sadly, Americans have been slow cooked the last 4 years that |
|
...they don't even realize its already starting to boil...I fear your right and we haven't seen the worst...I saw a great quote from Frederick Douglass in reference to how a tyranny will push and push to see how far they can go until those being oppressed can take no more...At what point do Americans wake up and realize that their country and democracy has been hijacked? When will they realize the Neo-cons have teamed up with the religious right wing evangelical whackjobs? How much bloodshed is there going to be?
A revolution and attack has been declared on America and yet most cannot see it....My biggest concern is the future of my pachababies and keeping them safe....
Yeah, longtime physio...how's Seattle? I was busy the last 3 months trying to save the world and get Kerry elected...now I'm doing the same still but figuring out what next...

I think folks are worn out pointing to several news stories posted here about Kerry dispatching lawyers to Ohio and elsewhere. Does he have to make himself into a media spectacle to get folks to acknowledge that he is fighting for votes? When he and the hundreds, thousands of citizens find enough votes before the electoral college meets then he will be out with it. Also there is no reason to believe that he wouldn't get behind any effort that uncovers fraud, and I would be surprised to find the former prosecutor is'nt leading many of those fights. He doesn't need to make himself the issue now. We need ground workers and citizens more than we need polarizing politicians.
Try a search of DU for the Kerry article if you are a contributor.

8. I hate to throw cold water on the theories here |
|
about how Kerry is waiting to see what happens, etc.
But I don't think so.
The vote was hacked... and in such a way that it will never be proved. There simply isn't any audit trail. It was designed that way on purpose. Oh sure, we can point to the more obvious voter suppression things that happened, and maybe even to a few instances of 6000 votes here or there, but to come up with even 150,000 votes in Ohio... or the 3 million needed to contradict a Bush "mandate"... you have to prove that people voted one way, and the votes were tallied another... and on a fairly massive scale (but not more than +/- %5 percent!). But massive scale of 100s of thousands of votes (personally, I think KKKarl engineered a vote of at least 10 million more for Bush than actuals). Proving it without a complete revote (at least in Ohio and Florida), this time on paper ballots and manual counts, would be impossible. Proving much of anything before the electoral college meets is unlikely.
Kerry realized this on Nov 3, some time in the early morning.
Nothing we can do about it but try to remove these MF'ing machines OR we hack the vote ourselves next time (immoral, but we ARE smarter than these clowns).

9. I think you are right... |

That the vote was definitely hacked, and both sides know it.
But the enormous risk in exposing election fraud is just too big - If it is proven that elections are rigged, maybe we the sheeple won't be so willing to pay our taxes to a government we didn't elect. They Are afraid of us, you know.

10. CNN said Kerry was going to make sure that all of the votes were coutnted |
|
But didn't believe that they would make the difference. Those of you who suggest he is keeping it quiet to keep the Repuke lawyers out of Ohio may be correct.
