Danae and Lucy stand on the edge of a gully.

DANAE: This is it, Lucy! We made it all the way to the end of the world, which validates my hypothesis!

LUCY: Uh.... What hypothesis?

DANAE: That the earth is flat!

LUCY: Um.... What about all the evidence that refutes your pre-conceived conclusion?

DANAE: I just dismiss it as rhetoric by evil-doers who want to embolden the enemy.

LUCY: But if you just look over there, you can see for yourself that this isn't the edge of the earth; it's a gully.

DANAE: As long as I don't look, my convictions hold true.

LUCY: I always wondered how cults and political movements get started.

DANAE: The trick is to be in on the ground floor.
