Bush begs UN to fix Iraq, how do they spin it?
The UN is going to go in and fix Iraq, eventually. How does the the right wing spin this? They have nothing but contempt for the UN. Remember them saying the UN has made its self irrelevant but not stopping Saddam?

Do they say "it was our plan all along"? Do they say "we have more important wars to fight, let the UN clean up the messes"? Do they just say nothing? If they say nothing, does Joe six pack just ignore it?

1. Dunno about our spin, but I would love to see the UN
stand up and say "But you said we're irrelevant. Go away."

2. The RW talking heads will spin this as....
...Bush graciously offering the opportunity for the UN to become relevant once again.

If they say no: "See, I told you they were irrelevant!"

If they say yes: "Bush has brought legitimacy to the UN once more."

That's my guess.

3. The French are on the Security Council ...
they scream if they don't support it and sneer if they do.

Voila! (pardon my French). Instant villian!

4. funny part
UN is dropping its staff in iraq by 90% after the recent bombing.

i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the UN left us to twist in the wind with our can't-rape-the-coalition-of-the-willing...
