DNC Chairman
How about Jim Hightower for DNC chairman? He would be a pretty good chairman in that he is always willing to put up a fight. Also he has some great idea on how to fix some of the problems facing America and the Democratic Party.

2. More experience needed.
I like Hightower a lot, but I think it requires more experience than having been Secretary of Agriculture. If there is more to his resume than I'm familiar with, I apologize in advance.
By the way, Hightower was a victim of the Rove machine. Rove ran the campaign for the guy who replaced Hightower as Texas Agriculture Commissioner.
