Hardball is covering the soldier shooting the Iraqi |
|
and the guy they are interviewing is making it pretty clear that there was no real need for it, and that the soldier seemed jazzed. I think Chris might be trying to frame it in a "we don't know what's really happening to these soldiers" discussion.
I only popped it on for a moment, so that's all I saw.

1. ABC ran a video of a similar incident when they were making their |

charge through Iraq way back when... the Iraqi soldier was laying there... wounded out in the open... and they just double tapped him like he was a horse to be put down... the interview with the soldier afterward was sickening beyond the actual killing.
Yeah... jazzed up, on what I don't know. And these guys will be walking the streets here in years to come... perhaps many of them living and sleeping on them as did many of the Vietnam vets who could never seem to shake their own personal ghosts....

2. Bad individuals are spoiling this war. |

They torture. They kill. They ruin it for everybody.

How about the children killed and lying dead in the streets. No one to blame for them? No individual? Of course not--no one knows who murdered them--it was done anonymously, and ditto for those who were killed in their homes in the middle of the night by the huge bombs dropped upon them from above--no one person responsible for that either. Easy to do when responsibility can be denied by anyone.
Someone did it, but they were only following orders. By whom?
