This is a classic Orwellian perversion of the language. Bin Laden was a terrorist; terrorists are bad; therefore anyone the junta wants people to think are bad is a terrorist in their words.

A terrorist is a person who uses unpredictable, indescriminate violence against civilians to induce terror among the civilian population in order to achieve a political goal.

Someone fighting the US military in Iraq may be a combatant; they may even be a defender; or they may be thugs.

But they are not terrorists, and they are not engagine in terrorism.

Anyone who calls them terrorists in participating in a massive international MIND F*CK.
