When the hell was General Electric promoted to our new national JAG officer?They have the UCMJ's PROCEDURES for this, people, and everything here indicates they were and are being followed -- as they were with Abu Ghraib, though the press failed to favor that pro-military fact. Yet, the media feels compelled (a very well protected media, mind you) to take the judgment ball and run with it, never mind the consequences for the other troops in the field. It's just a bunch of brainwashed Nazis who get upset if anything negative is broadcast about our troops. Our troops are blessed by the Lord God himself, therefore they can never do anything wrong. Right? Right?

(PS - As much as I would really really really hope and wish that our troops would follow the Geneva convention and act like Boy Scouts in Iraq, I realize that when your ass is on the line, people often do what they can to save their ass. This is why war is almost always wrong. We are asking these soldiers to either save their humanity or their lives - a horrible dilemma that I wouldn't wish on anybody.)
