If the re-count in Ohio goes forward...
can we muster some heavyweights to be on alert? Keep in mind how the Fascists were able to mobilize a group of thugs to disrupt the Florida recount. We need to be able to counter another such move with our own brand of "protection". :headbang:

1. If you remember the photos...

They weren't exactly "heavyweights".

I think their sole effect was the "shock" at seeing yuppies actually "protesting".

They aren't very good at it. Many looked like they had just removed their suit jackets to look more "average".

On edit - found one!

5. Yes, they were "heavyweights"
Look at those fat asses.

We aren't talking "intellectual" heavyweights . . .

6. I had a feeling someone would pick up on that.
Still... they aren't exactly your average scary goons that would intimidate anyone.

We just need a few Teamsters' union folks to show up.

2. In that photo, almost all of the "protestors" have been identified..
as Republican Hill staffers. It was a total sham, a farce, bought and paid for by taxpayer money.

This was one of the most sickening displays of Republican tactics I remember seeing.

4. Pathetic...it was...
and most of those classless idiots were bought and paid for by the head rat-bastard of all...Tom DeLay!
My point is that they need to be given notice that their intimidation tactics won't even be allowed to get off the ground should they choose to go that route again! :headbang:

8. I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about it.
The election is over.
