That was a great interview and I really enjoyed listening to him. I don't know why people here complain about Franken. He's got a sane show where people talk about the issues. That's a hell of a lot better than Rush.

So anyway.... I hope Clark stays on the scene. We need people like him.

politicians. There's something to be said for being a DC outsider.

3. Yes, he was excellent...
I was happier with this performance today that parts of the WaPo online thing yesterday.

Wes has to make up his mind... be 100% Democrat vs the outsider. Yesterday, he spoke more like an outsider, today he sounded more Democrat.

I know he was screwed around with, but that's part of the game. So, he has to decide where he wants to be for the long term...

5. I've often hoped that Wes would do a regular radio or TV show...
he is so good in a format where he can actually take the discussion to a logical conclusion, answer questions, have a dialogue.

I think that's how most of us early Clarkies found him; doing commentary on CNN, and then speaking to college classes etc on c-span. You couldn't help but think, "why can't this guy be my president?"

6. Heard him today also
He really ripped the * administration a new one both on Condi Rice and the CIA. I usually hope for the best but I think the next four years are going to be a trying time for this country.
