In good faith, i think that the euro is better than keeping the pound. I can rationalize it a lotta ways, but to be honest the wish, root, it is that the european peoples be strong enough en-bloc to collectively survive as a complexity, as the system of government is superior, by far, having tasted both. The bush cult demand an opposing federalism for common sense's sake, and the euro is a critical coming together, a unity, in all the civil, good healthy human interests, feminist, whatnot interests.
The pound small separatism, is no gesture of unity, and sadly divides europe so incredibly strategically from an american point of view. I'm amazed so few britons have caught on to play in to it so much. No derision of britains, no, rather just hmmm... better to focus on the issues of strategic legal federalism for survival's sake. The neocon scourge will demand it before its all over. One among many. That is what i feel in the euro and the goodwill of all european peoples and their increasingly impressive, way of arts, and life that is very first world impressive indeed. The euro is a fine gesture to feel proud of. Just circulate the corrency jointly with the pound by priming the pump with the bbc "CORPORATION" paying back its captive shareholders (license payers) 100 euros cash.
Nothing like priming the pump and letting the currencies be used in parallel, pricing in parallel. Being between america and europe is not the fact. Britain is very very very very europe and should be playing to the unity strength of europe. The joint power can temper dangerous tendencies in americana.
