She's a nice lady. Shook her hand. I also saw Evan Bayh and Paul Sarbanes. Was a great trip down town.

Senator Landrieu is my sorority sister and she spoke at our convention this summer - eloquent and classy. So proud to be associated with her! :)

Was visibly upset at the results but very nice, we didnt talk to her much though but I really wanted to thank her for kicking Hannity's ass.

My girlfriend was an honoree at a Congressional reception at the Sam Rayburn building recently. It was pretty cool, Senator Akaka (D-HI) was there as well as the administrator of NASA. Pretty wild.

8. Louisiana was the only state to go Democratic in 2002. |
|
I was pretty proud of that.

9. That Landrieu won LA as a woman is even more impressive. |
|
Since 9/11 it's been hard for women to win.

15. Sometime she drives me crazy, her moderate positions |
|
I wish she was much more liberal, and actually, I think she probably is a liberal, deep in her heart....but being from Louisiana, she has to walk a pretty thin tightrope in order to represent her whole constituency. The repug party will go after her hard when her re-election comes up, so yall all have to move down here to red LA and help us out with the vote...nah, I won't wish that on yall.
