Margaret Hassan killed by Alawi/CIA thugs?
I have no proof. Considering how popular she was with the ordinary Iraqi people it would seem odd for an insurgency to kidnap and parade for all to see then kill this beloved woman.

It's entirely possible.

Could it also be possible that she was kidnapped and murdered by Alawi in an attempt to discredit the insurgency?

1. We're all stumbling in the dark trying to figure out who's doing what
But I wouldn't put it past Allawi, or an alphabet agency, or its assets. False flag black bag jobs are a reality, so it cannot be discounted as tinfoil speculation.

2. No doubt
It has been reported that the Hassan videos did not look the same as the other videos of the kidnapped hostages. It was only when the news started reporting the difference, the kidnappers tired to duplicate the format of the released video of the other hostages with Hassan's videos so nobody will question any Alawi/US conspiracy. These people are not too bright.

7. I'm guessing it was Al Qaeda, not Iraqi insurgents. Al Qaeda
wants to take over Iraq as its home country, like it did Afghanistan, I think. It doesn't want the Iraqi people to be happy, to work, to have hospitals, etc. No foreigners allowed, in their opinion. The Al Qaeda members and Iranians and other foreigners would just as soon kill all the Iraqis as look at them.

That's my understanding, anyway.

But no one knows who kidnapped her. When the kidnappers give a deadline, we have learned what they will do when their demands are not met. That's why they kidnapped someone in the first place. I agree, though, that if it was the insurgents, it doesn't make sense to kill this woman who practically Iraqi herself and was beloved by the Iraqi people. A big backlash against their cause. But no one said they were smart.
