There are still those other 93,000, aren't there?

Not that they're needed, I bet Kerry crushes Bush if they do a hand recount!

2. Blackwell won't let it happen
Just because they have the money does not mean it will be granted or that they will even have the time.

13. Blackwell can't stop it -- this isn't about overturning the election
this is about saving democracy -- exposing both the riggable, hackable voting machines and the massive vote suppression efforts by the GOP to pre-emptively rob people of their votes.

5. Don't some of the 93,000 "spoiled" ones get counted?
And if they do a hand recount, I think they'll see that the machines were rigged and Kerry will crush him.

it's a seperate matter, tho. IF they get counted, it could be enough for Kerry. but you know the OH GOP isn't going to let that happen...

10. spoiled ballots will get reviewed in recount
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 07:24 PM by papau
in Ohio there are a large number of good reasons to not count vote - or count it twice! :-)

BUT FIRST THESE HAVE TO BE COUNTED:

remaining ballots that were torn, damaged, had stray marks or where voters did not follow instructions, including cases where ovals were not only colored in but also circled

plus military ballots and provisional ballots that were disqualified because their registrations were purged for not voting for several years, or because records indicated they were registered in other states or there was no record of them ever having registered.

THEN WE RECOUNT!

THE FUN FACT IS THAT 70% OF THE BALLOTS ARE PUNCH CARD WITH HANGING CHADS!

4. Question -- When they do a recount in Ohio.....will it be a hand count,
or will they just be putting them thru the same machines they used in the first place????? Do they know for sure what way it will be done, or is it still up in the air???

11. The 3/5 rule is from the slave days when....
1 black person only counted as 3/5 of 1 white person. Seems like that would be popular up in Ohio.

14. I see you keep repeating that........
.......but I have yet to see you explain how they can overcome the Ohio law.

Here's a link to Title XXXV of the Ohio Code covering elections.

Please clue us in on how they can possibly stop us? :)
