(Washington Governor) Gregoire Good News
I've been closely following the Washington State Governor's race. I've surmised that it appears that Yakima and Benton Counties have both reported. The trend for votes counted in the two counties prior to today was that Gregoire was getting only about 30-35% of the votes.

Gregoire received about 46% of the new votes reported (rather than the 30-some% of the trend)!!!

This is looking good.

Gregoire is currently behind, however, I did a quick analysis.

Assuming that the remaining votes trend exactly according to county trends.
Assuming that Gregoire picks up 500 votes in Grays Harbor (due to the glitch).

Gregoire will be about 600 votes ahead on Wednesday afternoon!!!!

I hope my analysis is right.

Of course, this total will put us into recount land, but who cares? We might have a democratic governor still!

If we do get Gregoire, I'm going to push and strain and try as I might to make Washington the place I want to live. If reds want idiots in the White House, so be it, but I'm making my state a better place to live.

Anyway, so good news (hopefully)

Teresa the Federalist Democrat.
