We'll NEVER have or need a draft.!
They will just keep recalling all the enlisted and guardsmen with the back door draft.

2. There's a finite number to be had there.
If we have a Vietnam level escalation, with an attack on Iran for instance, and need another 150,000 soldiers, there will have to be a draft.

Shrub's "There will be no draft" is going to be like his daddy's "I will raise no new taxes".

3. What happens when all of them are killed?
They will need some fresh meat to sacrifice for their Imperialistic goals.

5. ...until they run out of these poor men and women, too.
Also, they can only recall those who still have time on their Individual Readiness Reserve commitments, a number that will steadily go down in time as our armed forces are slowly ruined.

I feel so sorry for these people.

6. Won't be enough to fill up the infantry platoons.
Sooner or later, with the operational tempo the neocons are running, there will be conscription. There will be an emergency that will "change everything" again, which will excuse the glorious leader for his previous promises of no draft.

7. I'll bet anyone here...

that we're out of Iraq by Dec. 2005.
There won't be a draft. We can't win in Iraq. If I were Bush (and a total worm of a bastard), I'd say it's time to wait for a lull in the insurgency after the elections and then declare victory and pull out.

14. You must not have read the PNAC plans.
The bases in Iraq are permanent. Syria, Iran and Saudi Arabia are next. Democracy will bloom in the desert like a fucking rose.

The war will not end.

The draft is inevitable.

That's their plan. They wrote it all out years ago.

12. Finite numbers and a blood-thirsty liar = draft
I see no other way, unless we just start nuking nations bush senses are thinking about possibly acquiring ingredients that could be used in some conceivable future attack on our potential world-wide "interests."

He has launched a murderous, bloody war based on little more than a feeling.

And look at the blood flow , American and Iraqi, since the "election"

What a waste.
