Looking for a magnetic American flag |
|
Have done a brief search of the DU store and some DU posters web sites looking for a magnetic American flag to put on my car. So far no luck. (Something bigger than a business card size - smaller than a bread box) Anybody know where I can find one? I did find one doing a web search but wanted to check out the DU sources first. I like to shop at home.
I am going to place the American flag on my car upside down and hope that others will join me. Would love to see thousands of people sporting the distress flag and telling the fundies that we haven't gone away, haven't forgotten and are going to be right in their faces every time they screw up.
Saw a homemade bumper sticker yesterday in my travels. Right beside a "W," with a line through it, was the wording, "You know this is exactly how Hitler got his start." Hope it makes some of the doofuses (doofusi?)think.

1. In the words of Mr. Prine.. |

But your flag decal won't get you,
into heaven anymore.
It's already overcrowded,
with your dirty little war.
Now Jesus don't like killin',
no matter what the reasons for,
and your flag decal won't get you,
into heaven anymore....

I've no doubt you'll find magnetic flag decals. However, if you should have no luck, find a flag sticker, and go to a craft store and buy a sheet of magnetic material. You can get it in 8.5x11 inches. Apply the sticker to the sheet and cut around the sticker with a pair of scissors.
I've done this with all sorts of stickers and decals, and they hold on at speeds well in excess of what would be prudent to drive on public roads.
