9. Typical Drudge

Drudge consistently rewrites the stories in his headline.

A couple of reasons:

Perhaps many of his readers never read the actual article, so it implants his spin on the story.

Or, if they do read the article, the headline frames the story the way he wants it. So unless you are a careful reader you are left with his interpretation.

That is one of the reasons I think it is important to monitor that page -- we have had success in getting him to pull a story that was a distortion. Not often, but . . . And knowing what people are saying is a key to understanding a belief system.

12. I think you're right about his readers not reading.

I don't know how many times in the past several months I've heard someone say "Well, on Drudge ..." and then they haven't been able to give any details of what they read. Gotta admit, I seldom went there to double check myself. If Freerepublic is a sewer, Drudge is a river into which a sewer drains -- it looks somewhat better, but is essentially just as nasty.

11. It will be a trend

Once the Republicans have control of all they will have to drag out fear inducing icons to keep their followers in-line. Otherwise their will wanes as they enjoy their ill-gotten gains. Hannity has been screaming "Hillary for President." You'd think that instead of wasting time beating on the lady he'd be espousing what grand plans they'll put together to make America great. Little chance.
