When is ABC going to be fined?

I mean, CBS was fined for something that they had no idea was going to happen and could not control.

ABC put together the entire promo and chose to air it AFTER REVIEW.

I apologize if this specific subject has been covered already.

9. I do not see any moral calamities in Sweden, Denmark and other

Euro countries which show not merely nudity but sex acts on TV.The only people hurt by this apparently are the pornographers who don't get to make much money.

If anything people in these countries have become very blase about the whole thing and nobody seems to care very much about these issues. I think these people are much more adult than we are. Guys like Falwell and Robertson and Dobson would be laughed off the stage in European countries.

because as I understand it, there are no standards or guidelines by which to go by other than the obvious.

There was nothing to this vignette. Why in the hell did so many complain and ABC / NFL have to apologize?

If it had been a white football player, it would have been "harmless fun". Anyone who thinks that we've advanced in interracial relations on TV (I'm 49 today, and I remember the fuss over the kiss between Captain Kirk and Lt. Uhura!) is living in a dream world. When half of the entire electorate of Alabama is not willing to remove official segregation from its laws, even though its been unenforceable for fifty years, we know we have some real work to do on race relations in this country.

Serving up a white woman making a play for a black man, and having him appear to accept is sure to offend all the rednecks waiting for their "family home evening" of MNF.

There's more T&A in the long lingering shots of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders that usually promo any Dallas Comboy game than the Monday night opener last Monday. Heck the beer ads in between downs give you more of the T&A fix you're looking for.
