I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but
I have had it with the sad news today and I wrote this.
I am so depressed that religion has become so filled with hate.
When it is just the opposite to me.

A young soldier dies never knowing that his first child was born.
And Jesus weeps.

An Innocent infant will never be able to walk or even crawl.
And Jesus weeps.

A poor mother has to make an impossible choice.
And Jesus weeps.

An orphaned child will never forget the screams or the blood.
And Jesus weeps.

A beautiful gift from God is destroyed for corporate greed.
And Jesus weeps.

The money changers have taken over the temples.
And Jesus weeps.

A country choose his name, not his lessons.
And Jesus weeps.

3. I'm not Christian, but that is beautiful.
I understand your sadness. It's overwhelming.

4. Do you happen to know Jesus' address? He needs a card.
Maybe flowers, but definitely a nice Hallmark card.

5. No, I actually think he needs us all to start treating each other
with love, respect, compassion, and kindness.
But some people make it so very hard.

8. Oracles...even W is an oracle which one do we hear?
I suspect only the ones that say--You all are one the right path!

6. Ummm
if memory serves,
when Jesus found the money changers in church,
he took a stick
beat the tar out of them
and smashed up all their stuff.

Darn.
I wish we had a man like that
running on the Democratic ticket.

On second thoughts,
never mind.
I hear that ye olde Diebold did the counting
and ye lying Ass O' Prostitutus
then informed Pontius Pilate
that the populace much preferred
Barrabas.

7. Thank you for sharing
your talent with us.

Try to ignore the snarks - I think some folks are better at anger than sorrow and those of us who are better at sorrow than anger sometimes get caught in the crossfire. I think we all feel both.

For all the situations you note, we all weep - in our own way.

10. Thank you. I don't know about talent, but sometimes it just helps
me to put my sorrow or pain down on paper (or monitor).
It is very therapeutic.
