I'm sure you all shared my experiences after Bill Clinton came on television to claim he did not have sex with that woman. After that, every Republican nutcase relative of mine claimed that now all their children thought that BJ's were not considered sex. We all had to live with that.

Well, now we have Bush's legacy to deal with and it's frightening how quickly his style of governance is spreading. For some background, I live in a predominantely Republican county and if there was any trickle down effect, it would begin in my backyard. That's exactly what's happened. The Bush/Cheney's machiavelli mandate has trickled down to my H.O.A.

The board has never really complied with the law, but now they don't even try to hide the agenda. I was told two nights ago, that they were elected by the homeowners and that gave them the power to do anything they wanted to do. When I casually mentioned that it doesn't give them the right to do criminal things; one of them, the most Libertarian of the group, stated that, "Yes, it does."

This is the new direction that we're headed. Is there any way to get the Liberal airwaves to hit on this observation? Is this really what we want festering in our communities?
