My repuke sister sends me this crappy robin Williams right wing rant...
I promptly write her back not to send me any of this right wing drivel bullshit from the likes of robin Williams who now considers himself a voice for the right wing.

She responded to me, "boy you sure are angry, yikes!"

If she wasn't my sister, I would have told her to fuck off, but instead I told her, "damn right I'm angry, frankly, highly pissed off! This nation and this election was allowed to be stolen a second time! And we all let it happen yet again. Who am I pissed at? The repukes for using underhanded tactics to rip off another election because they could never get it by telling the truth, bush is a habitual liar and never could be trusted with the truth. This is why in a nut shell I am angry!"
She hasn't replied back.

ARE YOU ANGRY??

7. It's not genuine
I don't think. I'd double check with Snopes, but a lot of right wing rants have been attributed to comedians after 9/11.

26. not really in many cases, they always lecture us on how
we shouldn't disagree with the nice man in the shiny uniform over those heathens who want to kill us all in the sunny resort town of Guantanamo Bay. And how Michael Moore is a wicked reprobate for suggesting Saudis were being flown out of the country before the no-fly restriction was lifted after 9/11. Then, when they choke, they act like nothing happened.

He was vocal about Bush being a dimwit and that to invade Iraq was plainly ludicrous. What happened and when?

10. No, your sister's blindly repeating what she hears....
They can't even be right about their second-hand opinions, fer chrissakes.

From http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl-williams-plan.htm?terms=robin+williams:

One would expect a piece written by Robin Williams to be smart and funny, which this lackluster synopsis of the Top Ten Sentiments Most Likely to be Heard on Right-Wing Talk Radio is not. Apart from the final quotation (an actual quip, sans original context, from his comedy act), Williams Ñ a so-called "San Francisco liberal" whose left-leaning political views have angered conservatives and earned him billing on at least one Internet-posted "celebrity blacklist" Ñ clearly did not write the thing.

Who did write it remains a mystery, if not a particularly interesting one. Early versions circulated in March 2003 before the Robin Williams tagline was added went entirely uncredited.

11. Last time I heard Williams speak...
he was a hard core leftie.

Hard to imagine the conversion.

But then, he could be suffering from Dennis Miller Syndrome and decided that it's easier to be a rightwing asskisser than to be witty.

ROBIN WILLIAMS BLASTS BUSH
Funnyman Robin Williams has launched a scathing attack on President George W. Bush and his decision to go ahead with war on Iraq.

The "One Hour Photo" actor also criticizes what he sees as his country's mixed messages when it comes to national security.

He says, "America is broke, basically, but Bush wants to wage a war that costs pretty much a billion dollars a month.

http://www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/ROBIN%20WILLIAMS.%20ELECTION%20CONFUSION

ROBIN WILLIAMS' ELECTION CONFUSION

ROBIN WILLIAMS will have mixed emotions if GEORGE W BUSH loses tomorrow's (2NOV04) presidential election, because it will be good for America and bad for his career.

Williams is an outspoken critic of the Republican president, but has taken much stand-up comedy material from Bush's behaviour and embarrassing gaffes.

Is the rightwing so lacking in celebs to spew their causes that they need to make up craps like this? It makes them look very pathetic!

On edit: Nah. I think some of them (with too much time on their hairy hands) sit around making this stuff up to make the celebs whose views they disagree with look bad.
