6. For some reason, I'm not as angry as I was "BEFORE" the election
It's like "after what I knew was going to happen, happened" I cooled down after about a week.

Now, I'm in preperation mode for the trouble to come.

No time to really wallow in anger.

7. We should be beyond this stage now.
We need to be asking ourselves and each other a different questions. The question is, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

8. More angry all the time.
I'm not that young, either, I just give a shit. This guy is NO GOOD, he's a terrible, ignorant, immoral, personally repellent, smirking asshole, and he's the leader of the most powerful country in the world. And everyone is pretending it's not a HUGE CRISIS.

Plus I believe most Americans are sane and did NOT vote him, and that the republicans who OWN THE MACHINES have stolen the election. That seriously chaps my butt.

Argh. I feel like if I calm down and accept this, they WIN. But if they ruin my life, they win, too.

9. More pissed about the media and the public
You know, Bush and those creeps are doing what they think they have to do. Not that this is any excuse for their terrible cruelty and frightening lack of ethics but it's not like it's unexpected.

However, the lack of outrage from the public and the media are the most disturbing things about this nightmare. I would have had the entire PNAC lot impeached and locked up a long time ago.

I mean it's been one scandal or coverup after another: the unapologetic murder of Iraqi civilians, the torture at Abu Ghraib, the administration's efforts to bypass the Geneva conventions, hiding the Medicare cost from Congress, the blatant WMD lies, the lying about the air quality safety in NYC at Ground Zero, the outing of Valerie Plame, the Halliburton contracts, Bush cheating during the debates, on and on and on....

I mean, where does it stop? When do people start caring? When does the press start reporting?

So I'm WAY more pissed at the sheep than at the wolves!

So I'm very happy to have found you guys at DU. Thank you for being angry with me!

12. Yes. It's a good thing.
My anger is reliable, not chaotic. It's not a knee-jerk rage response. I feel this anger will hang on for a good long while, even if everything is cleared up for a happydappy fairy tale ending.

My trust in our nation has been broken, and I will never ever feel the same.

13. Pissed at all the enablers, too.
Is there a support group for dupes of political hacks? The only way to get your heroes to stop phucking you is to deny them your sycophancy.
