| Well, me and Howard Dean are sharing a birthday today |

He 56, me 54. I sure was hoping that it would be a happier birthday for both of us.
I hope that someday, people who speak truth to power as Dr. Dean did will not be treated like they are radioactive. He showed us what it means to be a Democrat again, something the Democratic leadership couldn't tolerate. I thought Dr. Dean's example would inspire John Kerry to take a few chances and speak boldly, but instead, Mr. Kerry chose to tippy-toe around the issues. Guess I was hoping for too much.
Happy Birthday anyway, Doc.
